ANII PREPARES AN ACTIVITY ON INCLUSIVE INNOVATION TO SOLVE SOCIAL PROBLEMS
Arbusta, you are inclusive innovation. This activity will take place on Friday April 26 at 9:30 am at Sinergia Design (Victor Haedo 2240). This is the fourth call for Inclusive Innovation from ANII (Investigation and Innovation National Agency), which has financed 16 projects so far with non-refundable funds. ANII procures to support the creation of new solutions to unattended social needs: to identify needs and encourage an innovation process to deal with such needs by building bridges between social problems and new solutions.
INCLUSIVE INNOVATION AS A PROBLEM SOLVER
The event shall include the inspirational talk of Federico Seineldin of Njambre to foster the creation of innovative businesses that impact on social or environmental problems. Federico is cofounder and director of Njambre.
From Njambre, he has fostered the arrival and escalation of impact businesses in Latin America which use social innovation as a tool to make changes. An example is Arbusta, the Argentinean company which has recently set up in Montevideo. The company provides youngsters from low-income contexts the opportunity to have their first job at a technology company. Arbusta currently provides software quality assurance services to Mercado Libre, Disney, Fox Networks and L’Oréal, among others.
A panel of entrepreneurs supported by ANII will share their experience in inclusive and innovative projects.
Different learning: apps and software which stimulate development and learning and which facilitate the communication of people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) have been created.
